Our Story

Lené was started by our founder Fitret after her own frustration trying to find clip in extensions for her curly hair. The ones she bought were so dry, brittle and plastic-like, that it was obvious where her hair ended and the extensions began.When looking for another pair of extensions, she realized that most clip-in extensions were geared to straight hair and the options for curly textures were limited. What’s more, the return policy and customer service was deeply lacking, compared to sites selling straight extensions. All the signs seemed to point to straightening her hair - but instead she decided to create a solution for her and all her friends (including you!) that were facing the same problem.

Lené is the Amharic word meaning “for me” - and that's what these extensions are. Made to fit and celebrate the unique beauty that is YOUR curly hair. Our team searched for months to source the BEST curly extensions we could find. And when we did, we made sure that there was an option for everyone!
